Regent Decisions Announced Today In Topeka
Regent officials revealed Board actions from a Thursday closed session. Budget decisions for the 1969 fiscal year to be released next week. The Board endorsed funding a new Geological Survey building at Kansas University outside the educational budget. Approved also were temporary faculty offices in Carruth-O Leary Hall and leaves of absence for three faculty members. Kansas State University bonds approved for a 1.54 million stadium addition. Plans for a new classroom building at Pittsburg State College and an addition to the Hays campus student union were approved.

Two people were hurt in separate crashes in the city this morning. Clochon had whiplash and was not treated. damages 155 to the truck and the auto demolished. At 8 00 at the Y intersection of N 2nd and N ard Sts Jerry L Lathrom 22 of 425 Wis St was injured when his car hit a truck driven by Arnold P Henning 53 of Wichita. Walkout Erupts At Bethlehem Steel Plant
A job advancement dispute at Bethlehem Steel Corp's roll mill near Chesterton Indiana sparked a one day work stoppage. Tape Recordings Used In Plane Crash Probe
Investigators in Hendersonville North Carolina say they have obtained workable information from cockpit voice tapes. The 68 man team led by former Maine Governor John H. Reed says about 40 minutes of recordings exist from the jet airliner and the small plane involved in the collision that killed 82 people.
