Man charged with beating man with four hammer blows

Jimmie L. Bowser, 27, faces aggravated battery in Douglas County District Court for allegedly striking a 41 year old man with a 4 hammer during a Monday fight in the Rockledge Apartments parking lot. The victim is in serious condition at a Kansas City area hospital and Bowser was later found nearby. He remains in Douglas County Jail on a 30000 bond.
