Park robbery ties to east side slayings investigation
Police linked a Wednesday arrest for an Edgewood Park robbery to the July 11 double slayings of George Wallace and Wyona Chandlee at their Learnard Avenue home. Damien C. Lewis, 22, faces capital murder and first degree murder charges plus aggravated robbery. Malcolm K. Glover, 21, is charged with aiding and abetting aggravated robbery. both men were involved in the park robbery at 1600 Maple Lane. Lewis remains the only suspect in the killings.
