A day clerk said the man paid in advance and left unseen. Bishop Noel Buress and police linked Russell to Hamilton’s identity from photos. A suitcase and Hamilton papers were found in the room. A federal warrant was issued for Russell charging him with kidnapping Barnet Egholm at Daytona.
