Wheelmen Demonstrate High Wheel Bicycles in Lawrence Visit

About 100 people gathered at the Visitor Center to watch Wheelmen demonstrate high wheel bicycles and other turn of the century bikes. Elizabeth Zollner feared sitting on the oversized front tire while Bruce Reed from Little Rock described the heady view from eight feet high. Lawrence firefighter James McKenzie spoke of cross country trips and antique bike collecting as Elaine Taylor noted the family appeal of the event.
