Lawrence man dies after motorcycle crash near Lawrence
A 56-year-old Lawrence man died Sunday morning after a motorcycle crash east of Lawrence. He was airlifted to University of Kansas Hospital with critical injuries following a deer-related swerve that left his bike on its side. he was thrown from the motorcycle and could not avoid a collision with another rider. The second rider, 51, also from Lawrence, suffered nonlife threatening injuries and went to Stormont Vail Hospital. Names will be released after family notification.
