Jordan’s banishment by judge over hotel disturbance
Andrew Jordan was banished from Lawrence under a $50 penalty by Judge Fred M. Clark after causing a disturbance at the Eldridge Hotel and threatening a former lover. He paid $5.50 costs and agreed to leave town by tomorrow morning. The well known figure had recently completed a sixty day county jail sentence for bootlegging. Rublee visited Kansas City today.
