KDOT to study impact of K 10 west leg upgrade
Kansas DOT begins an impact study on the K 10 West leg four lane upgrade noting traffic counts show 6 080 vehicles per day on the 2016 baseline before the east leg opened late that year. After the east leg’s opening traffic nearly doubled on the west leg with the Iowa Street to U S 59 corridor reaching about 18 400 vehicles daily, making it the busiest K 10 west of Iowa Street.
