Burglary Thefts Reported In Lawrence Area Ladders Bicycles Stolen
Lawrence police report two Werner 32 foot ladders valued at 640 and Werner scaffolding valued at 600 stolen from a Maple Street residence between July 4 and July 5. A 75 year old man reported two Cannondale bicycles, 20 inch and 16 inch, valued at 1600, stolen from University Drive between Thursday and Friday. Emergency calls logged by Lawrence Douglas County Fire Medical include multiple fire and medical incidents, system malfunctions, and several medical emergencies in Baldwin and Lawrence. Birth notices report two newborn girls to local couples on Saturday.
