Two Injured In Car Crash In Lawrence
Mr and Mrs Harold Johnson of 1008 Rhode Island street were hospitalized after their Ford collided with a government trailer truck parked under a street light on Massachusetts and Twelfth. The truck had no lights on and dark color of the truck contributed to the accident. Earl Matlock Meade Neb and Wayland Peterson Waterloo Ia were in the truck gang en route to Sunflower Ordnance Works for the Army ordnance department. Johnson and his wife suffered bruises and cuts. X rays planned for Johnson to check internal injuries.
