A District Court jury ruled that Northern Propane Gas Co. of Omaha was not responsible for a $2.4 million fire that destroyed a Norfolk warehouse and contents five years ago. Judge Donald Brodkey presided over the three and a half week trial.

Brinegar Receives Navy Commendation at KU Ceremony

Topeka Woman Sentenced in BIA Office Occupation Case
Joyce Guerrero, 26, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to six months in federal prison for concealing stolen government property from the Bureau of Indian Affairs offices in Washington. Judge George Templar suspended two years of the two and one half year term. Guerrero also faces trial in the fall on failure to appear charges.
