A young Eudora couple with three children died in a crash five miles east of Baldwin at the Eudora road and highway 50 intersection. Injured were Wilbur D. Garrison and Cordell Grandestaff, both hospitalized with shock and abrasions. The Aitkens were en route to Cambridge to bring children home when the collision occurred. both cars were demolished.
