Topeka July 14 AP The same grand jury that last month handed down 44 indictments in a southern Kansas whiskey conspiracy case reconvened to extend investigations into adulterated Jamaica ginger and Crawford County liquor violations. About fifty witnesses, including Jake paralysis victims and several women, were summoned as cases against 96 recent federal operations arrests in Crawford County move forward. Additional indictments under the federal narcotics act were expected.
