Two Lieutenants Escape Uninjured In Small Plane Crash

Two Army lieutenants from Ft. Riley escaped uninjured after a small plane belly flopped 100 feet from the end of a new Junction City runway. Lt. Campbell, piloting, said he was demonstrating a power-on landing to Lt. Grossfield when the craft struck an electric power line. The plane, owned by the Ft. Riley Flying Club, was damaged extensively. Barbering rises as a refined trade with European-trained barbers and high earnings cited by shop owner Arthur Wilson.
