Tonganoxie Rural Water District Nine bids set for Aug seven
Bids will be taken August 7 for construction of Rural Water District Nine to serve at least 425 subscribers north and west of Tonganoxie. Wilbur L. Wright, county supervisor of the Farmers Home Administration, says bids open at 8 p.m. at the 4 H building in Tonganoxie. The project includes laying 325000 linear feet of pipe and building two stand pipes. The FHA loan is 484000 dollars, about 90 percent of the estimated cost.
