NTSB details auto speed control role in Asiana Flight 214 crash
Investigators say Asiana Flight 214 pilots relied on autothrottle during landing at San Francisco airport but flew too low and slow before striking a seawall. Questions linger on whether auto throttle misset or not engaged, as the plane reached 103 knots and stalled risked before impact. Survivors reported a loud engine roar as impact occurred.
