AIDS Conference Protest Delays Thompson Speech in Barcelona
Protesters at an AIDS conference in Barcelona shouted down U S Health Secretary Tommy Thompson demanding more funding for the global fight. Skeptics call the Bush plan for HIV mother to child transmission underfinanced and urge greater Global Fund contributions.
