Metabolism and behavior study at University of Pennsylvania
A new course at the University of Pennsylvania psychological clinic, led by Dr. Henry E. Starr, explores metabolism and behavior, linking chemical changes in the body to emotional stability and fatigue resistance. Preliminary findings show saliva chemistry under controlled conditions may indicate mental state, guiding stammering treatment research with 296 subjects, in collaboration with Dr. Twitmyer.
