Lawrence set to consider mural for library exterior
Lawrence City Commission will decide at Tuesday’s meeting whether to approve a mural proposed for the Lawrence Public Library exterior. The project from local artists would be painted on ground level panels on the 707 Vermont Street library and depicts stories of local women of color. The Lawrence Cultural Arts Commission and Historic Resources Commission endorsed the mural with surface concerns noted by HRC about wood-grain textured concrete.
