Lawrence woman advocates through optimism and activity
Elissa Franklin, a 34 year old in Lawrence, stays busy with sand art, rumba, nutrition classes, and regular coffee gatherings. Her calendar also includes a trip to the state fair in Hutchinson, a Topeka Mary Poppins performance, a Branson vacation, and a Washington, D.C. visit, while she works an 8 a.m. shift at a production center.
