Witness Gruver May Help Calley Case Says Lawyer
Okla City lawyer George Latimer told the Daily Oklahoman that missing witness Charles Gruver could show Army suppression of evidence and merit a new trial. Gruver, a former Tulsa grenadier, was sought as a defense witness during the 1970-71 Ft. Benning court martial for William Calley Jr. The Army had said it could not locate him since 1970.
