Virginia City dispatch reports the three men missing in the Hallion mine fire have been located. Perry was found at the 800-foot incline top, Donahue at the 1400-foot coaling station with his face to the air pipes, Crocker about 200 feet above, all indicating suffocation as the probable cause.
At Lake Quissagamond Worcester, the steamer Isaac Davis carrying about 2000 passengers lost its hurricane deck in a collision with a gale. In St Louis on July 6 cattle show active demand exceeding supply with native shipping steers around 4.65 and grass fed prices from 2.50 to 4.25. Hogs meet steady strong demand with YorkersBaltimores 3.70 to 3.80 and light hogs up to 3.80. Sheep keep steady with top at 3.75 and receipts listed.

Hogs market fairly active and higher. packers not buying but all offerings taken. prices 3.50 to 3.75 for hogs, prime to trade around 9.60 to 9.95. Sheep slow with sales 2.70 to 3.75. receipts 1,400 cattle, 13,000 hogs, 200 sheep.
