Fourth of July Gatherings and City Scene Notes
Last night at Prof C E Hubach and Mrs Hubach home, an annual Fourth of July gathering featured fireworks and refreshments. The Barteldes home hosted a family and neighborhood group for a grand firework display. A girl wore a large diamond engagement ring near the Journal office, and many callers on the fight were women. A touring car scene in town sparked talk of an engagement hinted in the paper.
