Kansas utility regulators approve operations changes
The Kansas Corporation Commission approved operations changes after staff shakeup and Open Meetings Act concerns. The plan adds two weekly public meetings for routine business and requires that major staff changes be reviewed by all three commissioners. Chairman Sievers will coordinate future personnel decisions with the governor’s office. Commissioner Wright, not Brownback appointee, notes input is needed.
