Burglary and theft reports surge in Lawrence area
A 62 year old Lawrence man reported a white 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury coupe stolen from the 1200 block of East 24th between 3 p.m. June 26 and 11:30 a.m. July 1 worth $5,000. Also a 22 year old Lawrence woman reported $2,000 damage to a 1994 black Mazda in the 1000 block of Massachusetts.
