Shrine Built Before Killing Foster Cousin
In Springfield Missouri a 13 year old boy John Pat Drennon admitted stabbing 14 year old Carol Drennan to death and showed police a crude shrine he built in a vacant lot. The shrine featured a pyramid of about 30 prickly items a decorative tile a wilted flower and a fence of sticks and twine. He said he visited the spot before and after going to Carol’s house and that the urge to kill had been building up. A psychiatric study will be done and charges will be decided by the court and county prosecutor.
