County clerk to discuss ballot expectations at public event

Douglas County Clerk Jamie Shew will speak at the Women for Kansas Lawrence meeting on July 8 from 1 to 2 30 p m in the Lawrence Public Library Room C. He will cover what to expect on the ballot and the need for poll workers ahead of the Aug 1 primary and Nov 7 general elections.
