The Justice Department has opened an antitrust inquiry into the undersea cable industry. The Wall Street Journal reports Sprint Corp and Level 3 Communications received information requests, with AT&T Corp also reportedly sent a letter.
Chief Warrant Officer Daniel Riddell was found guilty of misappropriation tied to a helicopter that crashed in the Bahamas killing his wife and another pilot’s wife. King County jurors awarded Daniel Topham and his wife Cynthia more than 5 million in a medical malpractice suit against Dr. Gail Shapiro.
