Hundreds rally to oppose immigration policy in downtown Kansas City

About 700 people gathered in South Park and marched down Massachusetts Street to denounce President Trump’s zero tolerance policy, urging reunification of separated families and an end to mass detentions. Organizers from Families Belong Together and Amnesty International EU joined local leaders in speaking out and calling for due process and democratic action ahead of the midterm elections.
