Mid-America Arts Alliance awarded more than 47000 in Regional Touring Program grants to Kansas communities for 2008. Recipients include Lawrence, Emporia, Salina, Hays and Wichita. Grants fund performing arts such as Mozart Festival Opera and the Mystical Arts of Tibet, with future shows by Nebraska Theater Caravan and Paul Mesner Puppets, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.
