State raises assessed valuations for utilities and railroads
The state tax commission announced a total increase of about 175 million dollars in utility and railroad valuations, lifting the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe to 161 million, and noting a 100 million rise since 1921 in utility valuations while farm land values fell by 200 million. Toll of Air Mishaps Over Week End at Four
Weekend air accidents killed four people across the Atlantic Pacific coasts and the Midwest. National Farm and Home Hour Set for NBC Network
