Biden to nominate first Black woman to Supreme Court
President Biden vows to name the first Black woman to the U.S. Supreme Court by February end, praising retiring Justice Breyer as a model public servant and launching a rigorous search focusing on background, writings, and interviews. He has met with Ketanji Brown Jackson and considers Leandra Kruger, Michelle Childs, Wilhelmina Wright, and Melissa Murray among potential picks.
