Two Unlocked Autos Stolen With One Recovered
Two cars left parked with keys in them were stolen last night. one was recovered this morning. A Ford model A coupe owned by Olin White of 1228 Louisiana Street was taken from a spot in the 790 block on Massachusetts Street about 7 PM. E. J. Gordon’s 1929 Ford coach was stolen during the night from in front of his home at 1803 Vermont Street. The vehicles were reported to police this morning. One car was found about five miles south of Lawrence on Highway 73 W this morning with the keys missing, fuel tank empty, and two tires flat.
