Kansas lawmaker leaves loaded gun in Statehouse room
Republican Rep. Willie Dove acknowledged he inadvertently left a loaded 380 caliber handgun in a public committee room after a House Education Committee meeting. A secretary found it minutes later and turned it over to security, Dove said he normally carries a leg holster but removed the gun due to ankle swelling.
