Hunters Track Killer Tiger Roaming Nepal Border
A rare Nepal tiger that has mauled 35 children in 18 months is being hunted with orders to kill. The latest victims were two children killed last week in Ramchura, 330 miles northwest of Kathmandu, with attacks also in five other villages in the same forested area near the Uttar Pradesh border. The animal has struck cattle nearby, with the nearest tiger habitat 125 miles south in a wildlife reserve. It is unclear if the tiger strayed from India, home to most of the world’s remaining 7,000 tigers.
