The Midland Citizens Protective Association organized a coyote drive near the University of Kansas pasture north of Lawrence. Nearly 400 local sportsmen scouted the area as two drives produced two coyotes in the first and one in the second amid heavy underbrush.

He said the decision rests on Oklahoma's constitution which provides for separate schools for white and negro students.
