10 Year Old Boy Injured In North Lawrence Car Crash
Floyd B Haas a 10 year old boy son of Mr and Mrs Charley Haas of 501 North Second street suffered a concussion and a fracture to the left arm when struck by a car in the Union Pacific underpass in North Lawrence last night. Harold Hunsinger 1132 New York street drove the car and reported the accident to police after the boy was taken to Memorial hospital by ambulance. The boy ran across the roadway as the car traveled south through the underpass. The accident occurred about 6 30 o clock. Police made no arrest.

Mrs Mildred White Brann wife of Dr E C Brann of Dallas Texas and sister of Harris White of Lawrence Ig g is reported improving after a recent emergency operation in a Dallas hospital. Several blood transfusions were necessary to save her life. She was ill last June while visiting her brother and family and spent weeks at Lake Side hospital in Kansas City.
