Jayhawks home dominance grows as reinforcements return

Oklahoma noted coach mentor ties as Jayhawks fielded a full squad for the first time since December. Freshmen Pettiford and Clemence each missed time with injuries, while KU rose to No 5 in the AP poll and No 5 in the coaches poll. Douglas County grants mining and excavation CUP 21-00366

The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners approves a conditional use permit for mining and excavation on about 411 acres in the northeast corner of N 1200 E and E 2300 Roads, with parcels and legal descriptions, subject to Exhibit A and county code conditions. The resolution limits operations after 5:30 p.m., requires lighting plans, safety fencing, and a pond maintenance agreement, and allows reapplication if conditions are violated.
