Water Main Break Repaired On Seventeenth Street
City water crews finished repairs yesterday to a six inch water main break on Seventeenth Street near Tennessee Street. Fire spreads in Griesa home as three blazes hit city
Three fires in 20 minutes overwhelmed Lawrence firefighters. The Griesa residence at 401 Missouri street suffered major upper floor damage while the first floor endured water damage. Mrs. Griesa and her daughter June escaped as neighbors helped move belongings to a snow-covered yard. The house, built by A. C.
