Simon Arte Wood died this morning at 120 West 13th Street. He served as assistant cashier at Merchants National Bank, later cashier at Peoples State Bank from around 1912 until its sale to First National Bank in May 1942. He and his wife celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last July 10. Their daughter, Mrs. E. B. Foster of Colorado Springs, is expected to arrive tomorrow for funeral arrangements.
