A Douglas County jury found 22 year old Sedryck Welch guilty of aggravated robbery for the August 3 2009 Conoco store heist at 2447 West Sixth Street Lawrence. Jury deliberated about eight hours over two days. Welch arrested in April 2010 after police linked him to the surveillance video. District Judge Michael Malone will sentence Welch on March 31 at 3 p.m.
