Twelve Horses Killed Near Decatur Train Collision
Near Decatur on the Peoria Decatur and Springfield line a train struck fifteen head of horses owned by farmer J S Child. Twelve died instantly and one was badly crippled, with losses estimated at 2500 dollars. The railroad company will cover the damage.
