Douglas County advances trail and sidewalk plan in 2014
Douglas County pursues stronger walking networks under the Roadmap to a Healthier Douglas County. 2013 progress includes Sunflower Foundation grants for Baldwin City and Eudora trails, school trail funding near Eudora Elementary, and a major Outside for a Better Inside project in Pinckney. City, coalition, and MPO efforts expand sidewalks, trails, and pedestrian corridors.
