Plane Crash Reported But No Evidence Found
Cars from the sheriff's office and the Nebway patrol and a plane of the Orchard Flying Service searched an area south of the Consumers Cooperative plant for about an hour before noon today for an airplane report of a crash there. No evidence of a crash was found and the search was halted about 12:15. A Co-Op plant worker said he saw the plane go down about a mile south of the plant. It was believed to be a light plane. Delbert Richardson, near the plant, said he had not been flying and knew of no other planes landing in the area.
