The NYA placed 58 youths from Topeka Eskridge Lawrence and Hutchinson into Wichita aircraft work this month, canceling plans to ship 85 Kansans to Connecticut. Fifteen went to Connecticut January 1, others in Wichita as welders tool makers sheet metal workers riveters and machine operators. The Lawrence branch graduates 38 since January 1 with 15 moving to Connecticut January 17 and two groups (17 January 10 and 5 January 18) to Wichita. They worked while training at University of Kansas industrial labs and lived at 1004 West Fourth Street fraternally.
