Two Kansas men face separate charges over minors and obscene material
In Douglas County, Lawrence resident Axl Bob Wayne Chavez 26 is charged with sexual exploitation of a child for allegedly possessing child pornography between March and April 2013. He posted 10,000 bond and is set to appear January 24 for a preliminary hearing. Girard resident James Matthew Kichler 30 is charged with a misdemeanor for providing obscene material to a minor between November 2014 and February 2015. he pleaded not guilty and has a court date January 26 for trial.
