Roberts to Deliver William Allen White Lecture at KU
Roy A Roberts president and GM of The Kans City Star will deliver the seventh annual William Allen White Lecture at 3 p.m. Friday Feb 10 in Fraser Theater at Kansas University. The event is sponsored by the William Allen White Foundation honoring the late editor. A Kansas University alumnus Roberts joined the Star in 1909 and rose to president and GM in 1947. The luncheon afterward will award the annual journalistic merit prize to a Kansas editor, with Rolla A. Clyer presenting the award at the Kansas Room Me dia Union Building.
