Stolen Car Suspect Nabbed After Topeka Theft
Edward Gibbons, a colored man from St Louis Missouri, was arrested yesterday afternoon around 3:30 in possession of a stolen 1930 Chevrolet sedan. Police Hayter Ingalls and Dowers, while patrolling highway 40 east of town, picked him up in connection with a hold up at the Standard Oil station at Thirteenth and Massachusetts. The Shawnee County sheriff notified, and Gibbons and the car were returned to Topeka.
