Four Story Brick Building Collapse in Philadelphia
The four story brick building at 147 Commerce Street, home to Nixon Brown Paper Co., collapsed after upper floors stored with paper kegs gave way. Seven men were inside. three killed, one badly hurt, and three escaped. Names include John McKenna, Joseph Wallace, and Albert W. Marker. The dead were painters McKenna and Wallace and foreman Marker.
