District settles suit over high school fields plan
The district and neighborhood reach a settlement financing a nearly 12 million project to add and improve athletic fields with artificial turf at both Lawrence High School and another campus. Restrictions include on campus play, limited third party use of lights and sound, and neighbor input on landscaping and traffic.
